Natural disaster support
BOQ Specialist is activating its Special Relief Assistance for clients who have been impacted by natural disasters such as droughts, fires, floods and earthquakes.
With dangerous conditions affecting regions across the country, the safety of our customers is our highest priority. Once safe to do so, impacted BOQ Specialist clients are encouraged to contact the Client Service Centre on 1300 160 160 to discuss the options available to them.
The Special Relief process provides urgent access to support for BOQ Specialist clients affected by natural disasters such as droughts, fires, floods and earthquakes , where they can discuss financial relief available including:
- 90 day deferral of loan repayments (i.e. Home Loans, Business Loans, Personal Loans) which may be capitalised to the loan over the remaining term;
- Waiver of fees associated with transactions relating to natural disaster;
- Early release of funds held in Term Deposits;
- Temporary overdrafts for transactional accounts.
At BOQ Specialist, we understand that managing financial matters can sometimes be stressful. To help ease this burden, you have the option to have us communicate directly with your counsellor or representative if required.
