Brisbane, 31 July 2019
As part of its long-standing partnership with the Australian Dental Association Queensland Branch (ADAQ), BOQ Specialist today revealed it will be offering two professional development grants again in 2019 - the ADAQ+BOQ Specialist CPD Bursaries.
The bursaries aim to recognise and support dental practices that are committed to quality learning and to fund further professional development for every practitioner and professional staff member in the practice.
Valued at $5 500 each, the two bursaries will be available to ADAQ member owned private practices to be applied towards ADAQ Continued Professional Development courses. One bursary will be allocated to a South-East Queensland practitioner (Divisions 1, 7 and 8) and the other will be allocated to a Regional Queensland practitioner (Divisions 2 - 6).
The ADAQ+BOQ Specialist CPD Bursaries will be awarded at the ADAQ Annual Clinic Day Lunch on Friday 29 November 2019. In addition to a Certificate of Recognition, the two winning practices will also be featured by ADAQ and BOQ Specialist in relevant publications, social media and websites.
“We are delighted to offer the ADAQ+BOQ Specialist CPD Bursaries for the third consecutive year,” said BOQ Specialist’s State Manager, Jeff Miller. “This not only marks the strength of our partnership with the ADAQ, but also our commitment to supporting professional development within the Queensland dental community.”
Commenting on the bursary, ADAQ President, Dr Adrian Frick, said: “The ADAQ+BOQ Specialist CPD Bursaries is a wonderful initiative that supports all members throughout Queensland. It provides a fantastic opportunity for ADAQ members to upskill not only themselves but their practice staff.”
BOQ Specialist CEO, Hugh Lander concluded: “BOQ Specialist’s years of experience providing distinctive banking solutions to dentists has given us the knowledge to understand the benefits and opportunities that continued education and training brings to dental practices. We are proud to offer the bursary program to recognise the ongoing professional development that dentists undertake in order to deliver the highest quality care to their patients.”
The bursaries are open to ADAQ member owned private practices, with submissions accepted until close of business Friday 8 November 2019. The application form is available via the ADAQ website.
